The National Building Materials Industry held a forward-looking technology seminar on concrete application today. Chairman Xu Lanying said that the demand for high-tech industries has been strong in the past two years. With the advancement of large and heavy advanced process equipment, the requirements for factory building materials are getting higher and higher. Therefore, the domestic company has launched the only high-flexible model concrete in Taiwan, due to the high shock resistance performance needs of AI technology factories.
High-tech factories require high-standard building materials
What is highly elastic modular concrete? Xu Lanying said that Taiwan's semiconductor technology factory has high standards for the concrete required for factory building construction due to precision processing requirements. Because the production equipment must be set on a high floor, the structure must have extremely high shock resistance. Therefore, at the beginning of construction, the elasticity mode (Ec) of concrete must be greater than 35GPa and far higher than the 22GPa of general concrete.
Xu Lanying pointed out that this is not only the first time that Taiwan has a technical unit that focuses on high elasticity simulations, but also the traditional standard that only considers the design strength in the past, because high elasticity simulation means that the structural deformation is extremely small, which can effectively reduce the impact of vibration and ensure the stable operation of semiconductor production equipment.
Xu Lanying shared that in order to achieve this strict standard, domestic building materials adopt fine sand and gravel and fine powder strategies built over several years. With high hardness and precision sand and gravel, after factory mixing and testing, their pressure resistance strength reaches nearly 15,000 pounds, which is about 1.5 times the strength of 10,000 pounds of concrete design on 101 Building in Taipei. It successfully meets the requirements of high elasticity model, allowing the building to have both strength and shock resistance.
Xu Lanying believes that this year is the first year of AI. Faced with the rise of the AI generation and semiconductor industry, the demand for construction must also be upgraded. Science and technology has requirements for the stability, earthquake resistance and precision of buildings. This innovative high elastic modulus concrete represents the first time in Taiwan to push concrete from the era of "strength" to a new chapter of "flexibility and stability".
Xu Lanying said that the country has the largest concrete factory area in Taiwan, and has obtained relevant domestic and foreign certification marks such as low-carbon circulation building materials. It has also established a national-level TAF certification experience room to introduce complete traceability management of raw materials, and provides correct, fair and trustworthy national-level inspection reports for each production material, further strengthening customers' confidence and trust.
The executive director of domestic building materials, Yu Zhiren, said that high elastic mock concrete has been supplied to the advanced processing factory in the Kaohsiung Park area. It is expected that advanced processing factories will be built in Taiwan and in the future, including Zhuke Baoshan Phase II, Zhongke Phase II, Jiayi Science, Nanke, Kaohsiung Nanziyuan Area, etc., which are expected to be introduced into applications.
Regarding Trump's tax closures, Xu Lanying said that the global economic and tax closures are facing uncertain factors, but at present, the expansion of technology industry in the next two years has not stopped, and even this year's construction demand is even more powerful than last year. For example, the current source of domestic production is mainly factory, residential and public works.
Xu Lanying believes that although the housing market is affected by policies and seems to be slightly revised at present, domestic concrete is mainly sold to large builders, benefiting from the continued promotion of cases. The impact of domestic industries is relatively small. As for public works, the demand for government bidding is calm, the overall operation target will remain the same in the first half of the year.
