English football legend Alan Shearer wrote an article in a column about Manchester United's current situation.

What do you think about the current situation of Manchester United?

Under Amorin's leadership, it was shocking that things were getting worse and worse. Of course they have not made any progress, that's for sure. They ranked 14th in the Premier League, which was unacceptable last season. There may be some excuses last season, but given their commitment this season, there are no excuses. I think they are getting worse and worse, and it's really shocking.

Amorin refused to change his system, and his players obviously played uncomfortable. Sometimes he can't help himself. We did a graphical analysis on the show last weekend, he kept changing the defensive fives, he changed to Mount to play No. 10, and then transferred him to the left wingback four minutes later. Sometimes it looks really messy.

This is the truth. I guess the fans of other teams won't cry, they may have enjoyed it quite well. Amorin is under tremendous pressure and if they can't beat Sunderland this weekend, the noise outside will be even louder.

Why do you think Amorin's position as coach is still stable?

I think if United loses to Sunderland, he may be fired. I hate talking about coaches and their possible job loss, but Amorin really didn't help herself, didn't he?

I don't know what's going on behind the scenes, but I guess Zidane is waiting for a big job that will give him a chance to win the championship. I don't think Manchester United has that potential in the next few years, so if Zidane goes to Manchester United, I'd be very surprised.

After all, they are Manchester United, one of the largest clubs in the world, and there will always be people who think they can turn the situation around. But this team just made one mistake after another. I even think that the reason why Amorin is still in the position of coach is because of the mistakes made by the people above him.

They made mistakes in every way. Whether it's bringing Ashworth in, then firing him for paid leave, or raising fares, firing employees, and the players they sign. It seems that every decision is wrong. So I do think the team's performance is far from good enough and they can't wait any longer.
