Official news, Juventus player Douglas Louis joined Nottingham Forest on loan, with a lease period of one year and a forced buyout.

Juventus official announcement:

We hereby announce that Douglas Luis joins Nottingham Forest on loan, and the contract includes buyout terms. The lease period is 3 million euros until June 30, 2026. If certain specific conditions are met during the period, Nottingham Forest will be obliged to permanently acquire the player's registration rights; if a permanent transfer is reached, the agreed transfer amount between the two parties will be 25 million euros, which will be paid in four fiscal years. Depending on the achievement of the competitive goals, it will also include a bonus of up to 3.5 million euros.

After a season in Serie A, Douglas Luis will return to England - after spending five years in the Premier League at Aston Villa.

The 27-year-old Brazilian midfielder has played 27 times for Juventus: 19 games in Serie A, 6 games in the Champions League, 1 game in the Italian Super Cup and 1 game in the Club World Cup.

It is worth mentioning that Douglas Luis's last official Juventus game was in the Club World Cup against Al Ain, who came on as a substitute at the beginning of the second half to help the team win 5-0 in Washington.

We wish him all the best in the future!

Douglas Luis joined Juventus from Villa for a transfer fee of 51.5 million euros last summer window, but throughout the 2024/25 season, Douglas Luis only made 26 appearances and did not contribute any goals or assists.
